Right now I really should be stopping with the sewing. I have an interstate trip in under a week and an overseas trip in just over two weeks. Still, I spend my time sewing, I'm a bit addicted you could say.
My girly outfit for overseas wedding is sorted after a little frantic purse sewing and a ridiculously good bargain at the Easter sales. With a good bit of my tongue in my cheek I will say that I am now ready for my trip overseas.
I took a nice picture for you, I omitted the fact that unglamorous items such as Kleenex wipes and kiddy muesli bars are just as likely to be stashed away in here.
Now, where is that suitcase and the rest of my luggage? Still in the cupboards, of course. Ready? Oh no.

Are Lime green and creamy turquoise your favorite color? They are lovely combination! Have fun packing for your trip, Carol! :)
ReplyDeletePacking would have to be the worst job - I find it incredibly stressful and can totally understand why you are sewing instead!
ReplyDeletePacking is no fun...but you are going away so yay for you. Lovely use of crochet doily too!
ReplyDeleteI reckon it's always best to sew.
ReplyDeleteYour purse is stunning! And look at it's glamorous contents...at least you've got the important things sorted!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. And it's ok to do a glamour shot rather than a reality shot... that's what blogs are for. Mostly!

ReplyDeleteYep, I'm a leave it til the last minute girl myself. In the meanwhile that clutch purse is fab - you'd never know you 'never ever'!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! I used to always be a last-minute packer, but last time I did it a week early and then the night before went through and edited... worked so well. I ended up taking half what I normally would, but yes, I still took far more than I needed ;) Have fun with the preparations! :) K
